Welcome
Are you looking to work in a school that encourages positive change and challenges traditional British educational standards? At BSJ, we are guided by a clear mission, vision and values that we strive to live by every day. We are a school in constant motion, always working towards improvement. Our goal is to equip BSJ graduates with a versatile toolkit of skills to prepare them for life's challenges. Wellbeing is deeply ingrained in our school's culture, going beyond just a word; it's an integral part of life at BSJ.
Located on the outskirts of Jakarta, our school has forged valuable partnerships with organisations like the Centre for Systems Awareness at MIT, The Wellbeing Distillery, The Langley Group Institute, and world renowned "Indiana Jones of Positive Psychology," Robert Biswas-Diener.
During the impact of COVID-19, BSJ revamped our Primary School environment during school closures and hybrid learning. We created purposeful 21st-century learning areas for each year group. In November 2022, we hosted our inaugural wellbeing symposium, offering training by the Centre for Systems Awareness, introducing Compassionate Systems Tools to both adults and students. Our dedicated student ambassadors have left a lasting legacy, and we are committed to its continuation.
BSJ is especially proud of our Football Education Programme, a high-level partnership with Manchester City Football Club. Excited about promoting holistic development, our world-class coaching offers innovative programmes. Led by qualified coaches, the initiative includes recreational and development squads tailored to individual needs, showcasing our commitment to excellence in education.
Wellbeing is at our school's core, integrated into daily schedules from Year 1 to Year 13. We are committed to weaving wellbeing seamlessly into every aspect of education. Our Secondary School is International Baccalaureate accredited, offering MYP, DP, and CP programmes. In the Primary School, our 'Explore' framework combines the English National Curriculum's core subjects with an inquiry-based approach, emphasising skills, competencies, and strengths
