Indonesia Open Swimming Championship 2022

The BSJ Swimming Team made a strong showing at the Indonesia Open Swimming Championship, which was held at the GBK Aquatic Centre from 12-15 December 2022. This event is highly regarded in the Indonesian swimming calendar and attracts the best swimmers from across the country. It was an especially notable competition for our team, as BSJ was the only international school swimming programme to participate.

Out of our team of 17 swimmers, we achieved an impressive nine top 10 finishes. Notably, Chloe H (12-13 age group) had an exceptional performance, winning a bronze medal in the 50 freestyle. This outstanding accomplishment places her in the top three swimmers in the entire country, a remarkable achievement for someone her age.

Overall, our team demonstrated remarkable dedication and skill, competing against top-level competitors and representing BSJ with distinction. We are proud of their achievements and look forward to continued success in the future.
