The Primary Library at British School Jakarta (BSJ) is a warm and inviting space dedicated to fostering learning, reading, and the acquisition of new knowledge through a variety of programming, instruction, and engaging activities.
The BSJ Libraries consist of both the Primary Library and the Secondary Library, together serving the information and reading needs of the entire BSJ community.
Our Primary Library boasts an extensive collection of over 15,000 print books, catering to multiple languages such as Indonesian, English, Korean, Hindi, and more. This diverse range of titles is thoughtfully curated to nurture a love for reading among young minds while also meeting the specific learning requirements of our community. In addition to physical books, we offer an array of digital resources that are accessible to both students and teachers.
We strongly encourage parents of enrolled students to become library members, granting them access to our extensive collection of books and ebooks.
Our library operating hours are from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm on regular school days, with variations in hours during school holidays.
